The 2025 Anzac Day dawn service will take place on Friday, 25th April at 6:30am in the Main Hall of the Korean War Memorial.
Anzac Day marks the anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli in World War I by a Commonwealth force which included the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC). The shared experience of the ANZACs formed the “ANZAC legend”, which has become an important part of the national identity of both nations. Anzac Day is a significant day for all Australians and New Zealanders as it is a day to remember all Australian and New Zealand military personnel who have served and died in conflict, including during the Korean War. For more information on Anzac Day, please visit: http://www.anzacportal.dva.gov.au/
Everyone is warmly welcomed to attend the service. Seating is limited but all are welcome to attend and stand with us in remembering the sacrifices of the ANZACs, those who have served and those who continue to serve. Members of the public are invited to express their interest to attend the Anzac Day dawn service. For more information on the event, how to submit your expression of interest, go to: http://southkorea.embassy.gov.au/.
